Pot Magnets

Magnetic pots, also called pot magnets,cup magnets or round base magnet, consist of a magnet encased in metal, with its active magnet face exposed. Magnetic pots may have a hole, thread or screw in the center. The metal encasing on a magnetic pot allows the opposing fields of the magnet to transfer back to its active face. This increases the intensity of the magnet's pull strength to three to four times that of a standard magnet of the same size.  These round base magnets are often used in many assemblies and fixtures. They work very well for displaying documents, pictures, banners and signs and for file cabinets and cupboard doors.   • Neodymium Eye Screw Pot magnets (NdFeB or Neo) are made from a sintered alloy of the rare earth element neodymium and iron and boron. This alloy has very high coercivity, magnetic remanence and energy, and is stronger than any other permanent magnet material. Neodymium magnets are manufactured in a large number of grades. It can be formed into various sizes and widely used in fields such as aviation, electronics, instruments, meters, machinery and medical devices.

  • Samarium-cobalt magnets are the second most powerful magnets after the NdFeB and also are rare-earth metal based magnets like neodymium. The main components are samarium (Sm) and cobalt (Co), these two elements can be mixed in ratio 1:5 or 2:17. The final composition takes effect on magnetic and thermal parameters of magnets. SmCo Pot Magnets is a hard and britle material with high energy product and very good resistant to external demagnetizing fields. Maximum working temperature of SmCo magnets is up to +250°C (SmCo5) and up to +300°C (Sm2Co17).

  • Samarium-cobalt magnets are the second most powerful magnets after the NdFeB and also are rare-earth metal based magnets like neodymium. The main components are samarium (Sm) and cobalt (Co), these two elements can be mixed in ratio 1:5 or 2:17. The final composition takes effect on magnetic and thermal parameters of magnets.
